Paratrooper Officer Roberto Vergori has been promoted to Major General.
Born in 1971, former Commander of the Paratrooper Brigade Folgore (Aquila 1 from 2021 to 2023), he began his journey at the Military Academy of Modena in 1990. Head of the 172nd "Carattere" Course, he has served in various Command positions both in the Folgore and within the Italian Army, culminating with his appointment in February 2024 as Chief of the General Office of the Chief of SME Gen. C.A. Paratrooper Carmine Masiello.

We extend our congratulations to Commander Vergori for the promotion and for his extraordinary career in the service of the Nation.
