General of the Army Corps Paratrooper Carmine Masiello, recently appointed as Chief of Staff of the Army (SME), has recently conducted institutional visits to the "E. Bianchi" Barracks and the "Arpaia" Barracks, headquarters of the Army Logistics Command (COMLOG) and the Command for Training, Specialization, and Doctrine of the Armed Forces (COMFORDOT) respectively.
During the visits, welcomed by Generals of the Army Corps Mauro D’Ubaldi, Commander of COMLOG, and Carlo Lamanna, Commander of COMFORDOT, the Army's number 1 had the opportunity to update himself on the main activities and ongoing projects in the two High Commands, expressing great appreciation for the commitment and high professionalism demonstrated by the personnel, aspects that have distinctly reflected in the commitment towards achieving institutional objectives.
In his message to the personnel, General Masiello highlighted "the importance of keeping up with the times, seizing every opportunity for change, essential for maintaining levels of readiness and reliability consistent with modern challenges. The Army - added the Chief of SME - must be distinguished by a spirit of evolution and an attitude to innovate, continuously projecting into the future, but laying the foundations on lived values. We must focus on the young, the core of an organized and modern military instrument, continuously investing in them with confidence."
