Today, September 29, marks Saint Michael the Archangel, Patron and Protector of the Paratroopers.
On this day, we extend our thoughts and best wishes to all the Paratroopers of Italy, from every era and unit: to those who continue to serve with honor today and to those who, after wearing the maroon beret or the green beret, forever cherish the values learned in the airborne troops.
Our remembrance goes especially to those who have sacrificed their lives, remaining faithful to the oath they took. Their names and their example remain etched in the collective memory and in the heart of every Paratrooper.
Saint Michael, guide and defender, embodies the principles that have always distinguished the Paratroopers: courage, loyalty, sacrifice, and brotherhood.
